Will setting out ant poison hurt my chickens???

We have ants that are in our house (which happens every year), we usually put out ant poison that is like food and they pick it up and bring it back to their colony and it kills them. It is very strong and has worked great in the past. My worry is that the ants may pick up the poison and then go into the chicken coop with it. Is this something I should be worried about? Would my chickens get sick or worse??

If it is the granules like Amdro ant block, I'd be worried about the chickens picking up the granules.

Outdoor ant traps would be the safest option.
