will she be Ok on her own??

Ok, so I had a small flock of two, a Leghorn and another one that I didn't know the breed... Unfortunately my brown chicken died unexpectedly the other day. I was so upset, but now I am wondering if my leghorn will be Ok to survive the rest of the winter until I can get another hen. Will she be Ok? I live in New York, and it can get really cold here.

Try craigslist to find her a companion. They are very social and don't like to be alone.

You could set up something for her indoors until you can find her a companion. Get a dog kennel and a tarp and some hay.

I have a small carrying crate that I've kept her in over night when its lower than 10° or when it gets too windy, but I have two big dogs that live inside, and aren't too fond of birds, and my dad isn't a big fan of the whole idea, so over night is good, but other than that, I can't really have her inside.
