Will She Ever Lay Again?

My hens were attacked by a dog in early June. Five of the eight were killed. One was uninjured and two had puncture wounds and lots of feathers ripped out. those two looked awful for a while but are now completely healed and looking great. One started laying again after a few weeks, but my beautiful Speckled Sussex hen hasn't laid an egg since the attack. She was a very reliable layer before!
Could she have just been so traumatized that she'll never lay again? Does that happen?

I can believe that there are injuries that they can heal from externally and still be injured internally and never lay again. I wouldn't give up on her laying yet, it could be she is taking longer to recover. Still three months is a long time.
