Chickie laid her first egg on Saturday.

I wasn't expecting another right away, then BAM, Sunday, another egg, then today yet another! She's a little egg machine.

I thought they started out slow???????

She must have heard that I was waiting for another to make brownies

Ours are really starting to pump them out regularly too at 20 weeks (Golden Comets). Already I can't keep up!!

My little porch hen, Bitsy, started to lay almost two weeks ago -- has laid an egg every single day since. She lays them right outside the back door!
