Will she lay first?

So I opened up the nest boxes last night and made sure they were all on the roosts before I went to bed. This morning, when I went to clean the droppings, there was poop in one of the nesting boxes. Apparently at least one of them decided to sleep in there!:barnie

You'll have to check on them well after dark, which is 'late' this time of year.
Are your roosts higher than your nests?
Plastic easter eggs will work better if you fill them with something heavy,
like sand(tho most have holes in them) or gravel or plastic play clay(wouldn't rattle).

Here's some tips to tell....

I will have to go out later tonight, I guess. I went out after they had all gone in the coop for half an hour, and they were all happily roosting at that time.
I can stick some pebbles in the easter eggs, or sand and close the holes with hot glue.
