Will she turn blue, or white?

This little chick is not even 24 hours old, but changing colors right before my eyes. Those dark blue spots get bigger by the hour. Will the blue spots keep getting bigger, or will the white prevail? Pictured are her parents. Dad is from my Easter Egger rooster (in the profile pic) and a Red Sex Link hen. Her mother is from a Splash Marans rooster and a Barred Crested Olive Egger.

The rooster is dominant white so your chick is probably a blue paint and the spots will remain in the same place for its whole life.
Out of curiosity what is the difference between splash and paint? Because I had a chick once that someone told me was paint not splash too and I still don’t know the difference LOL

Splash is caused by two copies of the blue gene. Paint is caused by one copy of the dominant white gene (two copies will get you white.)
