will small eggs from new young hen hatch?

    One of my hens just started laying about 2 weeks ago. She went broody immediately and is now locked down on 5 eggs. Being her first eggs, they are small. I am wondering if they will hatch or not?

    someone told me dont let it happen cuz the chicks might be OFF but I dont know for sure

    As long as you have a rooster, they could hatch. The only problem I know of with hatching those small pullet eggs is that the chicks may be smaller than the average chicks of that breed; whether they would be weaker or not, I dont know for certain. I have hatched eggs from pullets laying less than a month and one or two were a little smaller than the others.
