hi all my blue Swedish girl has started to lay . her first nest got up to 11 eggs (i was sneaking some in and some of my other ducks were to) she left that nest be and started a new one she has 10 in there she has lined it with her feathers and covers it up. this time i left her completely alone and take the 11 other in the nest she left and put it in my incubator. she spends more and more time on the nest she uselly off it by 8 am yestday she stayed there till 10 and today till 12 dose this mean she gonna sit on them full time soon? also she one of my smallest girl but her eggs are the size of goose eggs is this normal?

Duck Hens get off their nests to eat, drink, and poop...
The last week or so is when she stays on it the most...If she is covering her eggs when she leaves she is broody..If she is on the nest more than off it?..She is broody and setting her eggs...
Congrats....
