My mandarin is laying eggs eggs and today I went to check on them and noticed one was broken. When I scooped it out only half of the shell was in the box. It looked like it was split right in half. The only animal that can get in my pen is squirrels. They seem to be able to squeeze through the top. Could it be the hen doing it? I rinsed off the remaining eggs and put them back. If anymore are broken I guess I will have to incubate them artificially.
