It’s getting colder at where I’m at, it’s at the lowest today right now below 25* and I’m afraid if one of my 8 weeks old chicks will not make it throughout this cold, we just recently moved them to the coop with the older flock, should I add a heat lamp in their coop?

If fully feathered they should have no problems with 25 degrees. If it were -25, that might be a concern!

Part of the problem is adaptation. They need to get used to the cold. So if you put a heatlamp out there now, you prevent them from adapting and they'll always need extra heat.
