I am very new to this chicken world and am loving it. I have 2 young white bearded silkie roosters that are getting pretty frisky and yesterday I put my silver sebright rooster and hen in with them(because my standard polish was picking on the hen) everything was fine for most of the day and then I checked and both of the silkie boys combs and heads are covered in blood. All of these birds have lived close together since I have gotten them but just lately I had another coop and pen built because I am getting a bunch of babies this week. Anyway I took the boys in the house and washed their heads and put polysporine on them and kept then in overnight (learnt another leason, lol never keep roosters in your kitchen overnght, 4:15am wake up call lol)

Anyway should I do anything else for these guys, will their combs heal ok?

They will heal on their own. I have had two incidents where my boys got to each other, leaving them with bloody combs. I do no more than wash them off, cuddle the obvious loser, lecture the winner and all has been fine in a couple of days.
