How old are the Delewares? Which bird's hind end is shown in the first photo and can you get a full body shot of that bird showing it tip-to-tail? eta - the full photo would be best in a natural, standing position vs what apepars to be "head down grabbing a treat" pose

That's why I was asking - I was seeing some awfully male saddle feathers and was hoping that wasn't one of the two you were hoping would lay soon.......didn't want to have to be the bearer of bad news

Lol no i found out awhile ago he was a he lol he now going to be dinner one night. So yeah anyways the hens are the ones i wondering about none of my hens have ever done the squat thing but adel has been going in and out of the coop lately so i am under the assumption she getting close.

So thats as big as their crest and waddles get? I have leghorns and their are huge so just wondering.

The combs and wattles will likely get a bit bigger as they mature a it more and will definitely plump up - but they will not be the same as a leghorn's comb/wattles.

I have to do another search in the morning to make sure i suppose. And thanks, i figured they would be considering the leghorns crest flop over their face quite a bit lol. I become egg obsessed.
