Will the Size of Eggs change?

I just found my first few eggs tonight, so excited but they seem a bit on the small side, are these just the beginner eggs? Will the size change as they get "better" at laying? Or will the hen that is laying always just have small eggs? Just wondering what you all thought.

My chickens' eggs started out a little smaller than they are now. And today I got the biggest egg ever!

They should get bigger, what kind of chicken is it? Bantam or standard? Bantams will stay small, standard they should get bigger.

They are standard "domineckers" which in this neck of the woods describes pretty much any barred bird. We do have one bird who has completely different coloring than the others, her head is much lighter, hardly any comb at all, she is smaller in build even though the same age and has white legs instead of yellow like the others. They are all very skittish around me, I don't know if I can ever hand tame them, I got them when they were too old already I guess.
