I have a broody on EE eggs at days 19 and 20. She’s been very dedicated, but today she was in the wrong nest..first time for her. The eggs were cool, ambient temp 70 F. so maybe off the nest at least 2 hours.
Candled at day 17-18 and saw movement. Today there are veins but can’t tell if there’s movement. No obvious internal pips but are drawn down. Broody is back on the eggs.
What are the odds of the chicks surviving to hatch?

I think it will be okay. If she wasn't off them for several hours and it wasn't all that cold then there's a decent chance they will hatch. Time will tell of course.

It had to be many hours because they were ambient temp. Nothing I can do but wait and see. Thanks.

Update: Two chicks so far. One to go. On Day 20 one egg was chipped in a scuffle with a wanna be broody; I had it in the incubator right away- ended up hatching over night and back under Momma who accepted it.
🥰. Thanks for all the reassurance, everyone. :thumbsup

Thank you for your question concerning eggs. First time incubating eggs. Day 19 I stopped the turner & began to think that maybe I should take the egg dividers out. I go to do that & hear peeping & see one egg has pipped. Some of the eggs rolled including the pipped one. The answers to your thread make me think it will be okay, right?

Yes. Hatched chicks kick the eggs in the incu all over the place.
