Will they be a couple? ♥️

I want to say cockerel, but the crest looks female. But i have roosters that look femine soooo.

I'm pretty sure its a cockerel. But you won't know until it crows or lays an egg. That's how i know for sure on my silkies. lol.

I have a satin also if I havent worn everyone out mentally yet 😁
Is it too young its 2 months old also male or female .I am leaning towards female. The black one has not made rooster sounds yet but does boss everyone around and walks upright 24/7.Yet he is still 2 months

I don't raise satins. But I heard you sex them the same way as a silkie, right?

Crest goes back, looks like a male. But the crest is still growing so you won't know until he/she is older.
Is the the one your speaking about the crest on ? This one is the 2 month old satin mix .I dont notice those feathers in the 4 month old

I kinda think that one's a male, but not sure.
LOL
I cant win for loosing .At least the farm I trade at allows me to return roosters for pullets. So I am blessed for that part ♥️
I basically was hoping the white 4 month and the white 2 month were pullets and the black one male.Thats my target and I cant seem to get it right 🤣

As for feathering or lack of it on some parts of Silkies, here's a 5 month pullet that just started laying. We hatched her this spring from our Silkie rooster and one of our Silkie hens, both of whom likely have mixed heritage.

Her mother has very little feathering on her legs and a little more on her feet. The father looks all Silkie however. Last 2 photos are the parents...

The solid white daughter has very little feathering on the inside of her legs, a far lighter amount of feet feathering, almost no cheek feathers, and, best of all, she has a wattle! That doesn't happen very often!
