Will they eventually use the roost bar?

My second set of chicks are sleeping on the coop's floor. They are harassed during the day by the big girls and I'm sure are scared of being close to them. As you can see on the coop cam, the youngsters are all huddled on the floor. They were inside the brooder until yesterday. Now they've moved out. Things are slowly progressing re: integration.

Should I make a small roost for them? Just let them be and let them figure it out?

I feel like i should because they liked to roost when they were inside the house in their brooder. When I moved them outside a few weeks ago I didn't give them that option

This is them (24) after settling in for the night @centrarchid . As you can see there's plenty of room.

The little ones are straight run. I might keep 3-4 roosters total (20 total chicks).

They have a huge run.

It gets very cold in here, Figured a tight space would help with body warmth.
