Will they ever all hatch? Update look how they have changed in 1 week

Baby guineas sure are cute...too bad they don't stay that way

Oh I think adult guineas are adorable too! Just look at their beautiful eyeliner! I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

If they are pure white, no markings at all (except maybe a small dark dot on the back of their head), then they will feather out as pure whites as adults. Once they start dustbathing in the dirt you will have "off white" Guineas tho, lol.

Well actually so far I have ended up with 4 white ones. This is so awesome. I have 17 so far on day 26. With 7 more eggs in the bator. YYYYAAAHHHHOOOOO. I am so excited I can not stand it.

Have 7 more eggs in the incubator. How long should I wait after day 28? Noone warned me they are so fast when they are little. Went to take them out of the incubator and they all jumped out and were running all over my kitchen counter.

I think I see a couple Pied Pearl Greys and a Royal Purple even

At the end of day 28 I'd candle the remaining eggs, and see if you can see any movement, hear any peeping or see if you can tell if they have internally pipped (when their beak has poked thru the membrane, and you can usually see the tip/point of the beak up against the inside of the shell). If you see any of this, I'd put them back in the incubator, maybe bring the humidity up to 70-75% and then see if the last eggs hatch by day 30. After that I'd probably give up on the rest of those eggs, but do candle them one last time before you finally give up on them.

Congrats tho, 17 keets is a pretty good sized hatch for your first time!

Well I candeled the other 7 eggs tonight. 1 was clear and the other 6 you could see they started to grow but stopped sometime. Sad but 17 out of 24 for 1st time hatching guinea's is pretty good. Thanks everyone who helped me.
