I got my 9 month old heritage bronze tom some ladies finally! they're around 6 months old. they're heritage bronze too!
he was very lonely, or so i thought...since i had gotten rid of his brother about a week before i got these ladies. it had only been him and his brother with my flock of chickens his whole life, until this transition.
about a week after i got rid of his brother, i brought the hens home. of course i kept them separate for about a week. when i let them lose around one another there were really no problems. he would sometimes stomp at them if they tried to eat out of his personal bowl, never when the tried to eat out of any other bowl. its been about two weeks since they've come home and everything has gone so smoothly!
the problem is, is that they don't seem to really want to hang out at all or be a flock of turkeys. the hens stay with the chickens and my tom is literally always stuck to my leg. hes my literal shadow

will they ever be a happy turkey family? will he ever want to mate with them?
