Will they find the water?

I built a automatic waterer using water nipples. I know for sure that 2 of my 4 chicks (8 weeks old) know how to get water from the nipples. I'm not sure about the other 2 though. I'm kinda scared to remove the 1 gallon watering bowl because I don't want them to not have water if they need it. Am I just overreacting or will they find the water from the nipples if they needed it? How have you all trained your chicks to use the nipples? Will they learn from the other 2?

I just put the nipple waterer in and pulled up a chair to watch. They were all excited over the new silver thing and tried it out. Once I'd seen everyone give it a go, I pulled out the other water dish. That was all there was to it.

Pick a day when you have some time to pull out the fountain waterer and watch them. You can tap the nipple so a drip hangs, too. That sometimes catches their interest. But really, they tend to imitate each other so since a couple of them have used it, they probably all have at some point. Sitting and watching will mostly just assure you that they can do this.
