will they get along?

I am thinking about getting 3 plymouth rocks and 3 New Hampshire reds. Will they get along with each other? Also are good breeds for cold Maine winters?

They should do just fine. Now, they do have good sized combs, so you may have to put a coating of petroleum jelly on them to help avoid frostbite in the frigid temps, but those are good sized, hardy breeds.

If you're buying adult birds, they may fight a bit, in order to establish their pecking order, but if you're buying them from the same place, it shouldn't be too bad.

And if you get chicks, there shouldn't be any problems at all.
