Three other things that help a lot:

1) keep the coop air as dry (not humid or condensation-y) as possible. Damp air promotes frostbite.

2) if you notice them getting their combs and wattles wet, e.g. in a waterer, there is a much higher chance of frostbite.

3) drafts (i.e. a breeze blowin' at the chickens, esp. on the roost) will also encourage frostbite, so keep the chickens and the ventilation as separate as possible in winter, and close up any ill-positioned air leaks.

Good luck, have fun,

Pat

I'm actually quite worried about the blue andalusian - her first winter, and I've never had one before. Her outrageous wattles and insane comb are both wet all the time when she drinks and tonight it's going down below 20 F, I believe. Gettin out the Vaseline!
