And so do the roosters!
I can't imagine bringing in a sexually mature male into a flock with a resident male. And in that type of enclosure. It's a recipe for disaster.

I kept trying to tell her that!

You live at home with Mom, so....you sort of have to abide by Mom's rule.

Is the rooster acting o.k. with the pullets/hens? Adding any new bird even if it's a rooster there is going to be some drama, but are things going fairly well?

The bantam rooster in there, I would be concerned about him. Can you possibly move him?

I had him separated I regret buying him since I didn’t really need him. But she threw him into the pen (he did go through quarantine) I want to rehome him but she won’t let me. I love roosters but there’s a lot of reasons I didn’t have one in my laying flock.

Sounds like this is a lesson for you.

Is this your hobby or Mom's? What is her reasoning of putting him in even without quarantine.. or look but don't touch even? Why did YOU buy the rooster?

No judgement... I'm just curious about peoples thought process that leads them to their choices.

Leghorn are pretty good at evading affections they don't want, and one reason why a rooster would treat them differently. If they aren't willing to mate he don;t want them taking resources from the hens who are. So you don't have any actual bantam ladies?

As stated by others your resident males are the real concern. Hope it works out quickly!

Hopefully you and Mom can come to terms here. Sit and talk it out and come up with a plan that you both can agree upon.

You do want to do what's best for your hen and for that rooster as well - he's been thrown into the mix through no fault of his own, so do try to accommodate him the best you can. He may turn out to be the best rooster you have ever had, you never know.

We got him as a impulse we didn’t th i know him through. My mom won’t read these post she’d honestly be mad at me if she’s knew I made this thread. And he was in quarantine but she ripped him out and threw him in i know the lady he came from personally so i’m not to worried but it’s still irritating. I don’t have any bantam ladies the 2 roosters were doing very well in there with my large hens. This is my hobby I bought the rooster with my money. I can’t ask forgiveness she hold grudges so there’s no point. She and my sister were upset I would put him in with my layer flock but I decided at the last minute I didn’t want rooster in there so they threw him in with no warnings..I’d honestly like to rehome him I don’t have a use for him.

My mom separated my run off for him which takes a lot of space away from my pullets.. remember how I said it was 3 runs put together? well now it’s 2. She wants me to find hens for him...yeah that’s easy to do but I also don’t believe he’s pure english Orpingtons I was told he was a blue Orpington (I knew he wasn’t) He’s black with red leakage. I don’t mess with mixed breeds I only breed pure breeds.

I’m not upset with the poor roo I would love to find him a new home. There’s no point in trying to talk to her she’s a brick wall (that’s putting it nicely) It’s been a long stressful day.

How big is the "run" made for him? You don't have to hatch eggs from him and the hens, just gather them up. Your BSL and BO ladies will probably handle him o.k. unless he's really rough.
Let your smaller Leghorn gals be with the bantam boys. That may be a solution?
