Will they go back in their coop?

So I've had a couple of silkies for about 3 weeks now and I've been keeping them in a coop with an attached run, I would love to start letting them out to free range now and again when I am home, but I'm worried bout not being able to catch them or that they won't go back in, what does everyone suggest?

We had 3 silkies and the first time they free ranged they didn't venture too far but on dusk we went out and shooed them back into the run. They were already in the habit of going into the coop and on the second or third night, they found their own way home. Only once did we find one that lost her way and picked her up and put her in. No worries since.

Thank you this helps a lot, from tonight they will be in a new coop with attached run (I will attach a photo), I'm gonna try and let them out now and again but keep the door open for them, hopefully they won't wander off! Don't want to keep them in the run all the time.

Just make sure there is a light inside the coop and they will seem learn to come inside.

When I first started to free range I let my girls out close to dusk. That way they won't go to far from the coop. When you want them to come back just keep a little scratch in a plastic jar, shake it and call them then throw a little in their run. They learn real fast and come flying back.
