Will they lay this year?

My ducks turn 20 weeks on September 5, 2021. I live in texas so it’ll still be warm probably. Do y’all think they’ll lay this year, or not until next spring? Let me know!

I think they’ll lay, my chickens started laying in January. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hard to tell. Mine last year in a similar age situation didn't start laying till almost the shortest day of the year, just before January. I was shocked to see there eggs and was really not expecting anything till the spring. Since you are even further south than me, it is possible they will start to lay in the fall or even the winter like mine.

They will start laying this year. My ducks started to lay in December.
