I just integrated 3 partridge silkies into my LF flock of 35 chickens (and 3 guineas) about a week ago. I put them in at night, and gave them a place to hide -- a lug bin tipped on its side, placed in the corner... they spent several days hiding (and scratching around the coop when the other chickens were were out foraging)... but yesterday and today they've started hanging out in the yard too.
I've only seen one fight between the silkie rooster and another rooster -- on the very first day -- and it was really quick. I half think the other chickens look at them, think "what the %$*# is that thing? can't be a chicken, must be a dust bunny" and continue on their way.
