Will they wait to lay?

I got this spring's chicks later than I ever have - April 20th. Mix of breeds, SS, Welsummer, and Polishes to name a few. They are ~21 weeks old. When will they start laying? Do you think they'll wait until spring to really start laying? My Welsummers especially have red combs, and most off them squat.

If they are squatting they should lay soon that is a very good indicator and red combs too they all mature at different times to so good luck

At that age you will be getting eggs very soon I'd predict! Keep us posted! The short days (unless you provide light in their coop) and cold will knock back production but come spring, look out!
