Will this be a good size for nesting boxes?

The diameter of the box is 14"by 12''.
The height is 16" in the front with a 4" lip and 13'' in the back. (it slopes down on the outside)
A dishpan fits inside.

I have Welsh Harlequins and Golden 300's.
Will these nesting boxes work for my ducks?

I think it will work. I have mine a bit lower, but you can test it out. If they look like they are sleeping in it then it should work. A lot of people have trouble getting their hens to use them but mine like to. I trained them by putting wooden eggs in their box at least a month before they were due to start laying. Ducks seem to have an instinct to lay where other eggs have been laid, so it worked really well.

Mine will use nest boxes if that's all that's available. They get locked in at night, so that's the best place in their pen. They seem to like feeling secure and surrounded, not just out in the open with nothing over/around them. If you have a low hanging, thick bush in your duck pen some will probably prefer that though. If mine aren't locked up at night they find a tree to lay under, otherwise they use what I give them.

Thats about what size mine is. I put it over where they made a nest once. They use it often actually and I put fake eggsin there for good measure.

I've build two row beds for mine.

I used small kit litter pans from Walmart, because they have a lower lip on front then the dish washing pans. Price was about the same too. I've also bought some cheap lumber at Home Depot and build a frame around the pans holding them in place. I can take the pans out and wash them when needed. The wooden framework around it does not have a floor below it. Again I can simply hose it off when needed. I've added ceramic training eggs into the boxes. The result out of the 2 that have started to lay it one uses the same bed over and over, and the other one drops it onto the floor next to the food bowl. Go figure! It's a miss and hit game I guess and we will see what the other girls will do once they started to lay.
They all use the beds at night and line up next to each other with their head to the wall and later put the bill under their wing. The walls are low, which they also seem to like. They talk to each other, and I guess it gives them the community feeling of laying next to each other like they do outside.

Hi, I use old tires. I went to a garage and asked for tires they were throwing out. I got the small ones, washed them off, put hay in the opening and there you go. They do lay their eggs in the tire, (they all use the same tire)????? Tires are easy to wash off, and don't harbor any mites. I only have 9 duck though.
