Will this egg explode

Hi! I have a friend hatching chicken eggs in a still air incubator! If the chicken eggs have veins will it explode

Hi, how old is the egg? Veining is usually a sign that the egg is developing. Lots of folks here to help (not me, lol). Can you post a pic?

I'm not understanding the question? They get veins as they grow during incubation.

I don’t have a picture but my friend it worries that it might explode if the chick stopped developing down the road Monday will be day 18 for the eggs

So it started developing later than the rest of the batch? As long as it's developing it won't explode

If it's still alive then it should be okay. Tell them to Candle it for movement.
