Will this incubator work?

No auto turn. quail definitely. Define normal... I put 2 'Large' brown chicken eggs in there for size comparison. It will get crowded when they start hatching and you don't want to lose to much moisturize opening and closing it during hatching time to clear out egg debris and what not. Plus you need to leave an egg space open for your hydrometer to fit in there as well

and do u know how much of the thermometer is. Also if you manual turn is it just moving the eggs and to control humidity how do u do it

Like sex link eggs or store sized eggs
Store sized eggs (here on Germany.) you can look on Amazon for a small thermo hydrometer combo they are like 10 dollars. You add a syringe of water to the basin underneath the eggs if you want more moisture Which you will have to do before lockdown. I am doing a dry incubation of between 20-30% so I'm not too worried about moisture as of this second but you'll have to watch it closely during lock down if you want to maintain that 65 %

Just wanted to share if you wanted an incubator with auto turn there are great janoel/magicfly incubators on amazon for $60ish. It has auto turn and a lot of people use successfully. I just hatched quail from mine.

Ok I might buy that. I just was going to buy this cheap one to see if it actually hatches eggs

I just figured I’d share because it isn’t too much more expensive and has an auto turner. I can fit 20 jumbo quail eggs in it and I believe it says around 10 chicken eggs will fit in the turner. I don’t want to mess with turning multiple times a day so I won’t go over those numbers.

I was scrolling through wish and found this incubator I just wanted to know if you guys will think it will work?View attachment 2111711View attachment 2111710View attachment 2111709View attachment 2111708
I bought the Magic Fly incubator that holds 10 eggs and it worked amazingly!! I put 9 eggs in and all eggs developed into viable beautiful chicks. 8 hatched and only 1 didn't make it out of the egg. It wasn't expensive and I was very happy with it. Also, the Magic Fly candler was only like $20 and worked better than any super bright LED flash light I had...and I have a lot of them. Ha! I could see heart beats by less than 3 days in...I couldn't believe it!!
