Will this mix be sex-linked?

Hmm, it's a good question. I'll tag some people.

I don't know anything about it, but I think you won't be able to sex them by their beak colors.

@Pyxis @DuckyDonna @Miss Lydia @Isaac 0, what do you think?
yeah, I read that it has to be a drake with a chocolate gene and a duck without it or something like that (or maybe it's not the gene maybe it's something else...) not sure though, thanks for tagging people :)
Also I think you're right, if they are sex linked maybe it'll be by feather color instead of beak color.

If the male in the cross was a gold phase welsh harlequin and the female was a non-chocolate type of runner, then yes. If the male was a fawn and white or otherwise chocolate runner and the female was a silver phase welsh harlequin, then yes.

Otherwise, they won't be.

Does The gold phase harlequin work the same as chocolate?

Oh cool, thanks! I know they have a gold phase welsh harlequin, not sure if it's a drake or a duck though. And I'm not sure what colors they have of the runners... guess I'll find out, thanks for the help!

Here's what I read, I can't seem to find the original post but I took a screenshot so that I could save the info.
