So I have two call ducklings and we have a natural stream in our field and I have widned it at a poin to it is 1 ft deep 5ft Long and 4 ft wide the water comes down from the hill and the it runs away some where else will the flow of water be enough too clean it?

Thanks

I forgot to say I runs quite slowly when we have had no rain for a couple days.

am actually thinking of do something similar i have a river passing next to my property am thinking to make a canal to get water going through it!!! not sure though i will start working on it in 60 days :D and yes flowing water usualy remains clean as crystalbut i would sugest in the banks to put rocks so they dont make it muddy walking in or out!

Yes that's what I have done With the rocks just didn't know if would be clean as it runs really quite slowly.

try to balance the size and the flow try covering all the botm if is possible with rocks or pea gravel so they dont scratch the botom(i know its a lot of work)!!!.Anyway as i said sometimes i use the river to water the edible grapes and by experience even with slow flowing the mud and the dirt are traveling, i can tell you that as am diging a fresh
canal in clay ground 20cmx20cm with very very slow flowing after 10 mins maximum 15 its getting crystal clear i would say you can drink
