Will this tree safe or will the chickens destroy it?

I can’t recall what type of evergreen it is. We planted it 3 years ago and it’ll eventually be a huge tree.

If your chickens are bored then they might mess with the tree, but if you have contented chickens, they should leave it alone. You can always put chicken wire around it.
 
I have a small but similar evergreen variety I purposefully planted in the run to provide some shade/break up scenery. They initially picked at them a little and then stopped. More out of curiosity than anything I’m sure.
 
It's going to be quite a few years before that tree reaches full size. The coop might not still be there when the tree gets that big!
I'm aware of that. But, like I said, that is the only issue with that tree
Yeah, lol! I want to move the tree, but my son thinks it’ll die if I do move it.
It might. We moved one about that size awhile ago and it died. Might not, too
