I have 4 turkeys right now, all 4 different breeds but im planning on having my Red Bronze gobbler mate my Golden Narri hen. The problem is the Red Bronze isnt the dominant tom, so i put him and the golden narri hen in the shed and shut the seperating door with my red palm gobbler (dominant turkey) and bronze hen on the other side. the seperating door is chicken wire with a frame so they can see each other, since my Red Bronze tom is the only tom in that side of the shed, will she lay for him no matter what or is it possible she doesnt like him enough to lay down for him? If my Red Bronze tom breeds my Golden Narri hen, ill get Bronze, Red Bronze, and Bourbon Red, I really want the bronze and bourbon reds

The hen should submit to the tom she is with. But if not, take wire zip ties and zip tie a tarp over the door. Or staple feed sacks....anything that will hide the toms from each other.
