I traded for some guinea eggs and placed them under broody chickens. we got 12 babies, including 2 white ones. We plan to free range them with the chickens.Right now they are roosting with the hens in the main hen house at 4 weeks of age.
We are concerned about the 2 white ones. Would we be better off rehoming those two so they do not attract predators? they do stand out and we don't have white chickens- only a few splash in the mix.
We have woods beside us and fox, hawks during migration, naturally raccoons ( hopefully the guineas will continue to use the hen house.)
Opinions?

. That's a risk most of us take. But I'm an advocate of cooping or penning guineas at night to keep them out of the trees. Raccoons, owls....all nocturnal predators can get to them in the trees.
