Will you be buying baby chicks next Spring, and if so from where?

I have 2 places I buy my chicks from, the first place is Hardware Hank and then if they don't have what I want, then I go to Tractor Supply.

I'll be ordering chicks, & hatching some of my own, plus some hatching eggs from a show quality silkie breeder on Ebay.
Need to order another Sumatra pullet, cuz one of them turned out to be a cockerel.

From my own birds. I had ordered and hatched eggs out this summer/fall so my plan is to hatch some homegrown ones and see how they do. They’re well suited to the climate here so I hope they’ll be popular.

Yes, McMurray opened up for pre-orders Monday! They’ve already sold out of their projected quantities of American Bresse and chocolate Orpingtons!!

UGH and I was sooo stoked to see the Bresse. But they've got a new meat breed with lemon cuckoo coloring that I'm very excited for.
