Please keep us posted on what the necropsy says. I have a white leghorn that is exhibiting almost the exact same symptoms. The only difference was that there was a small amount of blood in her otherwise normal looking poop and she laid an egg yesterday but still strained afterwards throughout the day. How long did they say it was going to take to get the results from the necropsy? Please keep us posted.

Just got results:
09/14/11:
Gross examination of this chicken revealed changes consistent with both a neoplastic and inflammatory processes, most
likely carcinomatosis (pancreatic or oviduct/ovarian origin) with a secondary severe inflammaiton. Histopathology is
pending to characterize these changes, infectious agent testing is completed and all are negative.

So apparently, she had cancer. At least it's not something infectious.
