One of my hens is (occasionally) laying tiny little wind eggs.  All of them have been laying for awhile, so the how/why has me flummoxed.  When I cracked one to see if there was a tiny yolk in it, the stuff that came out looked like bloody white.  Was it fertile?  Obviously, it wouldn't have been viable for long-- there'd be no room for a developing embryo.
