Wind pressure?

I used twin wall plastic panels to block the wind for my chickens. Just a thought!

So I had made a whole little box inside of his cage..but he doesn’t seem to understand what it is. I even put some food there. I was able to kind of push him in a bit and he ate some of the food but he doesn’t seem to like the box or really interact with it. Should I keep it for now or take it out? It covers a bit of space and I worry it makes him feel more closed in.

Keep it in there. They don't like change at first, but he'll get used to it, and he'll use it when it gets really windy.

Alright so I thought about it and I’m going to end up moving him to the second floor and blocking it so he can’t get down so that the wind doesn’t get him. I’m thinking to start doing that every night also just to be safe. It’s easier that way because it’s more closed off and I don’t have to worry about him as much.
