I was watching the news this AM and saw the weather report for Washinton State, Oregon, and on down to Los Angeles. It looked VERY SCARY!! Please be careful out there! Will be praying for all of you. I hope it doesn't last too long. Keep us posted the best you can.

I have the same wind going on here - it is really blowing hard - my poor chickens are tryng to come out but they keep getting blown off thier feet and my poor banty hen will not leave the coop for anything - even the dogs willnot stay out for more than a minute or two , but where I live this is NORMAL weather !!! it often blows like this for days at a time - but on the plus side it is warm today

Hang in there we will all get through this together - and if you look outside and see a bunch of little people just remember to follow the yellow brick road it will take you to the wizard LOL

Is it just me or does this winter seem strange? The weather here has been crazy and it sounds like it has all around the country.

Well 4 pm and the weather is much calmer. Still raining, but the wind is almost non existent at this point. And the power is on

I guess through tomorrow there will be periods of high wind but I think we are through the worst windy part. It's still supposed to storm through Thursday though when we are supposed to start moving. Rain and Move, two words you never want to use in the same sentence.

But I am so very happy the wind is gone for now!!
