Wow, I just noticed the knives. You'd think a chicken would watch out for those?

Knives are being held up by a magnet strip.

ok lol but when it comes down to it which one is more unsispected....the chicken right, people always suspect dogs to pop up but a chicken, you might send a buglar to the hospital with a heart attack lol

My sister has hens that do this, when they are out in the garden if she goes into the house they check each window until they know where their treat lady is and what is in store. My girls do it in reverse. they check out their own windows, and Rachel is always on guard in the morning for my arrival, then they all come to look and see what I am bringing them for the day. They are amazing.

I have a patient who lives in the neighborhood to the south of us. If he doesn't get up early enough to get out and spread some cracked corn, the roo (Jerry Lee) or the hen (Millie) will jump up on his bedroom window sill and start pecking at the window to wake him up. SERIOUS!.... and these are wild, roam the entire neighborhood chickens, but they always go for breakfast at his house!
