Window size

Hi there!

Working on building a coop on the SE corner of our barn. It'll be 5x9 with the 9ft wall facing south. Wanting to put windows in here (maybe just plexi till we find windows on freecycle/garage sale) Wondering how many windows (or overall area) I should put in. My thought was to try to cover as much of the length (not the whole wall, 2-3 ft in height) as possible. Would that be too much?

Alot of windows would be nice for the winter, but in the summer it might get too hot. In the summer you might need to provide some shade for the windows.
