Thank you for he pics Robnms... That is really helpful. Right now I'm having no trouble getting up to heat, in fact the top is way too hot (but the thermostat will sort that out). I think I'm going to do what you did and remount the fans to the ceiling though. I was hoping having it in the back would work but the heat really needs to be pushed down because that's where my cooler spot is. I've only got one 60watt bulb going in mine and that has been plenty to get the temps up in a cooler this size (I think it's a 12 bottle) so I think I'll stick with just the one bulb for now. I definitely like the idea of two fans, one pushing air down and one pulling it up so I'm going to rewire the second fan and put it in the unit as well. I think you're right about the ventilation and I think that's what is causing my humidity problems. I covered all but an inch of the vents on each side which I though would be perfect but then I realized that the back cover is in no way sealed so it's probably pulling in a small amount of air even if the vents are totally covered. I think I'll cover my vents completely and see what happens. If that's not enough I may try to seal up around the edges as well and just leave a small vent on the bottom.
Rebelcoyboysnb - Thank you for the tip! That is a great idea, I will probably do that instead of the tin foil
