Wine Country Coops..anyone know them?

Their coops are beautiful! But there are no prices on the site:

I did see prices somewhere-they are very expensive, over $1000 each, if I recall. I think they are on the site, but you really have to look for them.
***Went to the site and they've removed the prices! They were much more than $1000, now that I think about it. Probably why they took them off! WAY too pricey.

Aw that's too bad. They are really good-looking coops! And just the right size for me.

I remember when I first saw them a couple of years ago thinking how much more I could do on my own, that my own coop is the same shape, but 8x8 with a 6 ft high ceiling, and cost me less than $400 to build. They are cute, I admit, but WAY overpriced.

im with cynthia...the coop is going to be expensive but it doesnt need to be THAT expensive! Not to mention that building it is a chance to have some fun, learning some new skills. I had never built anything before I built ours and im really proud of it now!

I checked with the company some time ago and was sent this note. The full sized 4x6 coop is $4000. This is to house 16 chickens, which seems a little cramped to me.
The half sized coop for 9 hens is $3000, and the smallest coop is $2000 for 2-3 hens. I suppose if you're keeping banties this might be fine size-wise.
Granted, the coops are made with nice lumber, not the cheaper grade woods. Nice glass windows and the coops seem to be well thought out in design.

Plus, the shipping to my place (they are up in northern California, I'm down in the southern area) would be $400 -$700. The coop is shipped complete.

Im in CT, my father build custom coops/cages if anyone is ever interested! Basic or fancy to your specifications!

Gee, if I had a cool $4000 laying around, I could really build the Taj-Mah-Hen! I was thinking they were upwards of $3000, but just couldn't recall and didn't want to say the wrong thing. I just remembered they were over $1000. Hollywood Hens can live in those, I guess.

Wow, those are beautiful coops. I've been building one to sell all week, it's 4X4 will have dropping pits and everything. Double wall construction and insulated roof, easy clean etc. But mine isn't quite as nice as those. I'm hoping to maybe get $400 from mine.

If not, DH will kill me
