I'm planning on wing banding (permanent metal ID band) the chicks I'm hatching to keep. Would you all give your opinions on buying wing banded chicks? I want to offer this as a service on the chicks I'm selling. Is that something you would be interested in if you were buying chicks from someone? Is there any reason you would not want them wing banded, if it had already been done?
All of my breeders were done last Monday during my NPIP testing & inspection, so I have the young stock to do still. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be and I LOVE the idea of a non-visible, permanent ID.
