I had a neighbor ask if we clip our birds wings (chickens and Welsh Harlequin ducks). From what I have read, WH aren't big flyers but do I still need to clip their wings? I have an 8 week old WH drake and 4, 1 week old WH ducklings. Also, 2 chicks that are probably 6-8 weeks old as well. I believe one is a leghorn and the other possibly a rhode island but I'm not sure. The older drake and two chicks are outside in a pen with no top and the week olds are still my laundry room in the brooder. Some advice on this would be much appreciated! I don't want any of them to fly away!
