Wing clipping?

I like to let my girls out to free range in my backyard (I live in the city). My neighbors have several big dogs that I know would kill them if they flew over. I clipped one wing a few months back but it didn't seem to phase them. Does anyone else clip the wings? If so, one wing or both?

I wouldn't clip their wings at all so they can possibly get away if they need to from a predator. Try just letting them out a couple of hours prior to dark that way they don't have a lot of time to get into trouble. My yard is fenced but only 5ft tall but they just stay in my yard only had a couple of issues at the beginning when I let them out. Good Luck.
