Hello, I’m new to ducks. These are our 7 wk old Pekins. No idea of gender. The one in the back has drooping wings. What I’ve researched so far is that it might be too much protein but not Angel wing. Recently their voices got WAY more raspy. Even the one who was very loud and sounded female. Any ideas? Thank you for your time.

Welcome to BYC. Can you get a close up picture of the wings? And for sexing, can you take a video of them quacking, upload it to youtube and copy/paste the link here?

When they molt and the wing feathers begin to grow back they are full of blood and can cause them to have their wings droop they are heavy when full of blood. Do they adjust them at all when they droop?

Thank you. Yes the one with the drooping wings adjusts then, flaps and moves fine. They just ride droopy.
