So the goats had a little adventure last night... I got home from a long day at work, did all my farm chores, fluffed the clothes in the dryer I've been ignoring, started dinner and hopped in the shower. When I got out, I glanced at my phone and SURPRISE! The security camera picked up the goats out of their pen.
I'm still dripping wet and rushing to put on my muck boots over pj's and yelling at my partner to "grab a flashlight and animals crackers! We have a jail break!"
I ran out there (hair still dripping) and sure enough, they're just walking around. When they saw me, they literally trotted toward me with a little pep in their step like it was the best day of their life! The animal crackers worked to get them back inside and then we went to work fixing the fence.
Apparently poor pregnant Daisy has been scratching herself against the fence. A weak spot in the fencing was no match for her big belly.
