Newly hatched chick 4-5 days old, pic of wing, can one tell if male or female? Thanks

I agree.
It only works if the correct parents are bred to produce the chicks.
For any other chicks, wing sexing does not work.

In about 6 weeks, people on here will probably be able to tell gender if you post pictures of the whole chick, and maybe a closeup of the head. (Photos of wing feathers won't work at 6 weeks either.)
