wing pulled off but still attached by muscle, any suggestions

There was a long thread about a bird who lost part of a wing,
it took herculean effort for months.
I wonder what happened with that?
He lived!
Her gets along fine with his nub. I'll find the thread now do the OP can see that story.

@agale when you change the bandage tomorrow please take photos and post them here.
I am in no way doubting it challenging you. I’d like to offer what assistance I can but need to put my eyes ,even if not my actual hands, on the injury.

In the meantime, I’d keep the bird warm, inside (obviously) and monitor eating, hydration and be on the lookout for signs of shock and infection.

When did this happen as far as you know?
Meaning this afternoon? Last night?
Two days ago?

Chickens can heal from some gruesome injuries.

i think it ligaments or muscle it look as if the bone was not attached just so hard to tell with all the feathers
If she were mine, I "might" be inclined to trim feathers if it's possible to do so without causing discomfort. Can you possibly feel if the bone is attached with your fingers if you can't see clearly?

This is beyond my expertise as well...I've never had anything close to this either. Closest thing was a broken wing on a dove and the vet tried to pin, (I was only 11 or 12 so it was very sweet that he tried) but it didn't hold because of the porous type nature of birds' bones.
